Role Summary:
As a QA Engineer at SBV, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our workforce management products. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to create, execute, and automate tests that validate new features and prevent issues from reaching production. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about building robust software for real-world workforce management challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases, plans, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of our workforce management modules.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand new feature requirements and provide feedback.
- Track and document defects and improvements in JIRA, ensuring thorough root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Propose and implement QA process improvements, including test automation for recurring test cases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications: - Experience: 2+ years in QA, preferably with experience in workforce management, HR, or similar industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Coding Knowledge: Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with a focus on clear and detailed documentation.
