Remote Contracting Position – JavaScript
I have 10s of thousands of records made up of metadata and an html string that needs to be reformatted to fit a new json schema. This job will require an expert ability to read old JS logic (including jQuery), process and extract data, styling info and more from html in an organized fashion, and turn this data into a new schema. You will write a script that will process a large number of records successfully, but will very likely need to modify the script to handle a large percentage that is formatted slightly differently, doing that again and again, until we get to a point where we are happy with the number of records processed. It is difficult for me to speculate how long this job will take based on this, but it’s probably a big job. However, the work can be spread over time based on your schedule.
This is not for someone who’s just getting started in programming or JS/HTML, please reach out if you are interested.
