we have an infra team lead position open at Brivo! I’m not leaving but my peer on the Infra side is (I’m the DevX lead).
Pros:
remote friendly with no plans for RTO
engineering driven culture, very collaborative
we have hardware and software which is pretty fun to play with
Modern tech stack and open to anything with a good engineering justification (CTO is still kind of an engineer himself) AWS, K8S, datadog, redis, flux, rds, kafka, snowflake, all the bells and whistles
good pay (likely low 200s as well with bonus)
fiscally conservative and does anything possible to not have layoffs
Cons:
mid size company so all the growing pains of that. I.e you need to be ok with there not being a ton of process and ambiguity (pretty standard stuff for ops)
tracking and demonstrating value can be kind of silly because we have our own hyper customized version of agile and it can be a little hairy to fit ops work’s round peg into the square hole.
