Software Development Instructor: TTI Careers is currently seeking a dynamic Software Development Instructor to join our live online Career School. We’re on the lookout for a confident individual who brings a wealth of experience in computer programming and web development to the table.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, Python, PHP, jQuery, Express.js, operating systems, and databases is essential for this role.
Ideal candidates will have several years of teaching experience at the high school or college level, coupled with a fundamental grasp of how back-end operations correlate with front-end coding.
This teaching opportunity is from 9 AM to 2 PM EST, twice a week, throughout the summer months. There’s also potential to continue teaching into our fall program, commencing on November 3rd and concluding in May.
The position is entirely remote, catering to students based in the United States. Compensation ranges from $85 to $95 USD per hour.

Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Location: Ramsey, NJ/Remote

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams across UX, Culinary, Video, Firmware, Software, and Hardware Engineering to assess requirements, design, configure, and deploy new services.
Contribute to architectural decisions, instrumentation, and performance design, executing proof-of-concepts (POCs) as needed.
Develop well-crafted, high-quality, and reusable code by applying design patterns and best practices in software development to ensure service agility, reliability, and scalability.
Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management pipelines, enabling accelerated workflow for the team.
Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards.
Attend daily standups and weekly sync-up meetings with stakeholders to align on project progress and priorities.
Implement both front-end and back-end components of social platforms for recipes.
Regularly refactor the codebase to improve maintainability and performance.
Integrate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities into the company app.
Perform testing and debugging to ensure product quality.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
1 year of relevant experience.
Experience with JavaScript.
Proficiency in modern platforms such as Git, AWS, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Travis, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), etc.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and design patterns.
AWS Cloud and/or Terraform certifications and training.
Familiarity with data science techniques, with hands-on experience in machine learning (ML) frameworks and algorithms.
